Ready for your dream home?

It's easier than you think! If you've ever worried about navigating the process, feeling stressed or discouraged about buying a home, it's time to kiss those feelings goodbye!

I always make sure to prepare my clients for the journey ahead so that we can kick back and have fun throughout the process. Buying a home should give you the same warm fuzzies as walking in after a long day, so I make sure to take confusion and frustration out of the equation and keep the enthusiasm on high. Here's what you can expect when you work with me:

Preparation: When we start working together our first step is to walk through my buyer guide, which will prep you for the next steps, narrow down your wants and needs in a unique and helpful way, and get all of the basics out of the way so that when you're ready to put in an offer, there's nothing standing in our way.

Understanding:  I don't want my clients to be along for the ride, I want them to truly be a part of the process, understanding every step toward one of their biggest life investments. When you narrow down the properties you love, I'll help you understand the market, provide insight on the perfect offer and help you navigate any issues that might pop up as you go under contract.

Transaction management: Many people think that finding the house is the hardest part of the process, but friend, that couldn't be farther from the truth. I have checklists, vendor references, how-to guides and industry relationships to make the time between contract to closing a breeze. While you won't have to lift a finger, I'll make sure that you understand what's going on behind the scenes and guide you through any rough waters- all the way to the closing table.

Common costs of home buying

Curious about costs you might expect as you embark on your home purchase? This guide breaks down what to expect, when to plan for them and the best ways to pay them.

1. There's no cost to have a buyer's agent represent you in NC! The seller typically pays the commission
2. Most times, your first mortgage payment won't be due until 1-2 months after you close (nice lil' break, huh?)
3. You can plan on about 30-45 days from contract to closing (it can often be shorter but this is the standard!)

I am confident that Libby treated me like any other client - like a friend and a top priority. I can't recommend her enough. Whether a first time home buyer like me or not, Libby has an ability to pick up on what you want and what you need and help you get both. She was so helpful and awesome to work with!

Libby helped me buy my first house and got me to closing in record time! I was sure about the house I wanted and needed to move ASAP. Libby helped me put in a successful offer and close in a matter of weeks. She demystified the entire home-buying process for me, stayed on top of details, and worked her network of contacts to make sure I could move in lightning fast. Libby was always very friendly, accessible, happy to answer questions, and easy to work with. On top of that, she's super sweet and thoughtful. I love my house, and I'm so grateful for everything Libby did to make buying it possible. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an agent!

Working with Libby was really fantastic! She was incredibly thorough in prepping me for the whole process, which was very reassuring with this being my first home purchase. On top of that, Libby was always really quick to answer any questions I had and would seek out the information if she didn't have it herself. I know for some people home buying can be a drag, but with Libby it was a breeze!
