My journey into Real Estate has been a long one, but not a bit of a surprise. I grew up in the industry- selling lemonade at Open Houses for my dad, walking land with my grandfather and filing client reports as my first job in my uncle's Real Estate law firm. I was taken at a young age by the networking and sales process, and could spend all day soaking up the intricacies of homes, design and décor.
In college, I majored in Public Relations and Organizational Communication, both key pillars in my business today. I was active in Tri Delta sorority, and a campus tour guide.
My first step out of college was to enter into a marketing role for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. As the social media craze took off, I moved on to a digital marketing agency, working for companies like Chevrolet, Cadillac, GEICO and the state of Texas. My life began to circle back to Real Estate when I took a position in events and training for the Multiple Listing Service in DC, where I trained agents on technology to list and sell homes.
After all this time behind the scenes training and observing others, I finally spread my wings and got my own license when my husband and I fell in love with and moved to Raleigh.
I make it a point to weave all of my past experience in marketing, customer service, events and sales into every step of the process selling homes.
I created the At Home with Libby brand to showcase my creativity, craft a unique customer experience and support my community. I partnered with Coldwell Banker because of their strong local and national reputation, commitment to customer service and unmatched technology and tools.
