No matter what the temperature is outside, I'm one of those people that has to be under a blanket at all times when I'm relaxing around the house. I mayyyy be known to even kick the thermostat down a few notches or turn our fan on just to make life a little cozier. So it's safe to say that I've experimented with what feels like every blanket on the market, and I thought I'd share my favorites!
The first pick is the PERFECT lightweight blanket, which is one of the harder ones to find! It's super soft and light, but still as cozy as can be. I guess this material started in the world of baby blankets, and babies know a thing or two about naps.

This next one is my go-to for winter, it's fluffy and thick enough to provide enough warmth, but lightweight enough that you won't feel weighed down. I love these so much I've been known to pack them for trips to the mountains just so I know what I'm working with, and they're also affordable enough to stock one in every room.

My final suggestion is a little more specific, but I swear it can put even the fussiest adult to sleep in a matter of minutes. Weighted blankets can be a little pricey, so I love that I could try out the trend without breaking the bank. My only complaint about this one would be that it doesn't have a cover, and I don't have a clue how I would wash it. While I haven't tried this one personally, it looks like a great affordable, easily washable option (and I love that it has temperature control!).
As a rule of thumb, for adults, a weighted blanket should be around 10% of your body weight. If you're questioning or in between weights, err toward the lighter side.
